In D.C., all registered voters will receive a mail-in ballot. You do not need to request an absentee ballot.
Ballots should begin arriving the first week of October. If you haven't received your ballot by October 21, make a plan to vote in person during early voting or on Election Day.

Make sure that you're registered to vote
Once you've voted, you can mail it back via the postage-paid envelope (the ballot must be postmarked no later than Election Day, November 3); drop it in a ballot drop box; or drop it off at any early voting site from October 27 - November 2 or polling place on Election Day. See early voting, polling, and ballot drop box locations here >>
