Loren Rahming-Curtis joined the ACLU-DC in November 2020. Prior to that, she worked in health care administration for over 10 years. Her work included helping low-income families secure medical care and working to improve quality standards for doctors serving these communities. She is a current student on the Dean’s List at University of Baltimore and will soon earn her B.A. in English.
Loren has always had a deep personal interest in politics, social justice, and racial equality. She is invested in protecting civil liberties and championing intersectionality in her professional and personal life.
Outside of work and school, Loren enjoys going on mini adventures with her new wife, reading, writing short stories and poetry, and collecting vinyl records and Funko Pops. She also dabbles in photography and loves all things history-related.
