Let D.C. Vote: A Virtual Discussion About D.C. Voters' Rights

October 27, 2020 @ 6:00 pm
October 28, 2020 @ 5:45 pm

Many members of the D.C. community face higher barriers that can prevent them from casting their votes.

Join an important virtual panel discussion with local leaders working with D.C.'s immigrant, returning citizen, and unhoused communities on Tuesday, October 27. The discussion focuses on what obstacles they see their communities facing, what is at stake in this election year, and what we can all do from today until November 3 to ensure EVERYONE has access to their constitutional right to vote in the District of Columbia.

Speakers:

  • Aja Taylor, Bread for the City
  • Catalina Sol, La Clinica Del Pueblo
  • Courtney Stewart, National Reentry Network for Returning Citizens
  • Cyndee Clay, HIPS

This event is free. Attendees will have the opportunity to ask the panelists questions during the event, or you can submit questions in advance when you register.

We hope to see you on Tuesday, October 27!
