Michael Walker II is an established and innovative fundraising professional with extensive non-profit management expertise. As a passionate advocate of community-centric fundraising, Michael sincerely believes that a fundraising model dedicated to the principles of equity and social justice that prioritizes the community above the individual will enhance the quality of life of its citizens.

Michael continues to build sustainable business structures and strategic plans that focus on relationships and community building to ensure the continued growth of the organization. He has successfully raised funds for leading non-profits and arts organizations including, but not limited to Central City Opera, Indianapolis Opera, and the National Council for Less Commonly Taught Languages.

In addition, Michael enjoys a thriving career as a Countertenor, performing as a soloist with orchestras and a chamber music member. Furthermore, Michael is a Sphinx LEADer Fellow with the Sphinx Organization; a social justice organization dedicated to transforming lives through the power of diversity in arts and culture.

Michael holds an M.M. from Indiana University, an B.S.B.A from the University of Alabama in Huntsville, and a Certificate in Professional Fundraising from Boston University.
