Bio

Sarah Jester is the Digital Communications Strategist at the ACLU of the District of Columbia. Their work spans social storytelling, graphic design, web management, video and audio production, and other digital content management.

Sarah has received numerous honors and awards for their digital storytelling efforts, having been named a Business Equality Magazine Class of 2023 Pride LGBTQ Leader Under 40. Before joining ACLU-D.C., they spearheaded digital and communications work at the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, the U.S. Economic Development Administration, and the National LGBT Chamber of Commerce.

Sarah received their M.A. in Media & Strategic Communication and their B.A. in Political Communication, both from George Washington University.
