Thema (tay-muh) Thomas joined the ACLU-DC in September 2020, where she now manages the affiliate website and social media accounts. Having received her B.A. in Public Relations from Howard University in 2019, she is an upcoming practitioner in social media management and digital communications. Prior to her current position, she worked as a Global Communications Fellow at Hill+Knowlton Strategies, managing the public relations firm's global social accounts and writing thought leadership content. Her previous experience includes additional communications positions at World Wide Technology, Americans for the Arts, and Girls, Inc.
One summer, Thema memorized three seasons of Bob's Burgers word-for-word, and was even able to recite the episode titles and numbers.
