Suzanne joined the ACLU-DC as the Strategic Communications Director in May 2017.
She has more than 10 years of experience in nonprofit communications, previously as a Communications Officer at the International Women’s Health Coalition. Before that, she worked for six years in the web communications department at the national ACLU, where she successfully relaunched the organization’s blog and served as the ACLU’s first Blog Editor. Prior to that, she worked as a reporter and later the managing editor for a trade magazine and website.
Suzanne has a B.A. in English Literature from UCLA. She lives in the Stronghold neighborhood of D.C. with her partner, a dog, and two cats.
