Beatrice joined the Philanthropy Department of the ACLU of the District of Columbia in November 2017. Originally from a suburb of Los Angeles, she has lived and worked in D.C. for six years. Before joining the ACLU, Beatrice has held a variety of positions at various nonprofits. Most recently, she was a Campaign Organizer with Local Progress at the Center for Popular Democracy, where she helped galvanize over 500 municipal elected officials to engage in a nationwide campaign against anti-Muslim bigotry and the related xenophobia that has unfortunately been given such a large platform in recent years.
Beatrice received her B.A. in Political Science from American University. She hopes some day her online ACLU biography will also boast a J.D.
